As a woman of Godly value, humility does not mean making yourself small, hiding your gifts, or refusing to lead. It means carrying influence without allowing influence to carry your heart away from Christ. Philippians 2:3 to 5 teaches you to value others and to have the mind of Christ. Your beauty, wisdom, education, spiritual gifts, leadership ability, or ministry position should become instruments of service rather than reasons for superiority. As you lead others, ask yourself: “Does my leadership make people feel valued, or does it constantly remind them that I am above them?”
Humility is demonstrated in how you listen, receive correction, acknowledge your limitations, and give honour to others. A woman of Godly value does not need to prove that she is always right. She understands that correction can protect her and that wisdom can come through people she does not expect. James 4:10 says, “Humble yourselves in the sight of the Lord, and he shall lift you up.” Your confidence should therefore come from your identity in Christ, not from the applause of people. Can you receive correction without becoming defensive, and can you celebrate another woman's strength without feeling threatened?
Leading with humility also means refusing to compete with other women. You do not need to diminish another woman to establish your own relevance. There is room in God's kingdom for different gifts, assignments, personalities, and expressions of leadership. Instead of asking, “Who is better than me?” learn to ask, “Who can I help become better?” Your influence becomes more powerful when the women around you are strengthened, equipped, and confident in their own God given assignments. Are you building women who can stand beside you, or are you creating followers who cannot function without you?
A humble woman also knows when to serve quietly. Not every good thing you do needs public recognition. Jesus demonstrated leadership through service, and Philippians 2:5 calls you to possess His mindset. Your leadership should be visible when responsibility demands it and humble enough to serve when nobody is watching. Whether you are leading a ministry, family, business, women's group, or community, let your character speak louder than your title. Where can you choose service over recognition today?
Above everything, remain connected to Jesus. Godly value is not measured by how many people follow you but by how faithfully you reflect Christ while leading them. Humility keeps your heart teachable, your relationships healthy, and your influence useful in God's hands. When God lifts you, remember the One who lifted you. When people celebrate you, return the glory to Him. When you are entrusted with greater influence, become a greater servant. What would change in your leadership if you consciously chose the mind of Christ every day? A truly valuable woman does not lead to become important; she leads because she has received grace and is willing to use that grace to help others fulfil God's purpose.
Hope Expression Values You
